NABU opens case against former Dynamo coach following court ruling, transfers materials to police by jurisdiction
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) has opened a criminal case against a member of Kyiv City Council, former coach of the Dynamo soccer club, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, in accordance with a ruling by the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC); the case has been transferred to Kyiv Police Department for investigation.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine registered criminal proceedings against a member of the Kiev City Council and former coach of the Dynamo Football Club.
In Ukraine, criminal proceedings were registered following a statement of possible extortion of $250,000, which included a deputy of Kiev Council and former chief coach of the Kiev "Dinamo" Alexander Shovkovsky, who entered information on the register by decision of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court, but then referred the case to the Kiev police.
