Ex-Chelsea youth star Lamisha Musonda reveals he’s ‘fighting to stay alive’, Marina Granovskaia responds with message
Lamisha Musonda, 33, revealed his critical health condition after a two-year struggle, asking for prayers and acknowledging support from family and fans on social media.
- On Thursday, Lamisha Musonda, former Chelsea midfielder, revealed on Instagram after a 10-month absence that he is fighting to stay alive and believes he only has a few days left.

- Musonda appealed directly for aid and prayers, thanking teammates, teachers, coaches and his family, and said, 'He continued in French: "Life is made of highs and lows, and no-one can truly understand the pain you go through.'
- Following the initial posts, an outpouring of support led Musonda to thank supporters, while former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and Romelu Lukaku replied with encouraging messages.
- His posts said his family are fighting alongside him, and Musonda said he may not thank people he met during his life and career in person, which saddens him deeply.
