Dear Editor I agree with Dick Clancy (letter June 24) that with any Proportional Representation model “some people will be represented by MLA’s who were chosen by a party.” What he might also have mentioned is that, as it has always been, every riding would also be represented by an MLA who was elected in their riding by a simple plurality of votes. Before the election each party publicly releases a list of candidates names in preferential order…
