Even after injury, Donte DiVincenzo refuses to leave Timberwolves’ side
Donte DiVincenzo, who played all 82 regular-season games, is staying with Minnesota after Achilles surgery and supporting teammates from the bench.
Despite a ruptured Achilles tendon sidelining him for the postseason, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo continues supporting his team, appearing at games on a scooter.
DiVincenzo suffered the injury on a Saturday, underwent surgery the following day, and returned to the team's practice facility three days later during shootaround.
Timberwolves players wore DiVincenzo's jersey ahead of Game 6 to honor his dedication. Wolves wing Jaden McDaniels said, "It just shows that we all care for each other."
Wolves guard Mike Conley said DiVincenzo's return "says a lot about who he is," while forward Julius Randle noted he "uplifted us being here, supporting us."
Having played in all 82 games this season, the former energizer remains a unifier for Minnesota, with his continued presence at Target Center demonstrating commitment to the postseason run.
