[Brussels 30th Reuters] - The unemployment rate in the euro area for August, which was announced by the European Union (EU) Statistics Office on the 30th, remained unchanged at a record low of 6.6%. The number of unemployed people in August was 1096,000. There were 1,096,000 people in July. The unemployment rate fell below August 2021, when the unemployment rate was 7.5%, by 1358,000 people.
