The quinquennial was discovered on Thursday January 1st in Barjouville, in the agglomeration of Chartres. Another homeless man had lost his life on Sunday in Paris, probably also a victim of cold temperatures.
The 58-year-old victim was known to the emergency shelter services and had refused an emergency shelter offered the day before by the Red Cross, according to the prefecture.
