According to the ENTSOG report, a combination of harsh winter conditions, disruptions to Russian pipeline deliveries, and a global LNG shortage could reduce the amount of gas in EU underground storage facilities to 11 percent, the strategic base level.
The level of gas reserves in underground European Union storage facilities, according to the ENTSOG baseline estimate, could be about 30 per cent at the end of March 2027.
