WORLDWIDE (POKÉMON GO MOBILE GAME), JUL 22 – Max Finale event lets players battle Eternatus and every Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon with free and paid Go Passes offering Candy and special rewards, Niantic said.
- Pokémon GO Fest 2025 features the Dark Skies event from August 18 and the Max Finale event on August 23-24 with Eternamax Eternatus battles.
- Niantic introduced the GO Pass: Max Finale on August 18, granting encounters with Eternatus and additional Dynamax raid content during these events.
- The event features more frequent daily Power Spot refreshes, temporarily boosts the maximum limits for Particle collection and Remote Raid Passes, and provides a substantial quantity of Candy and Candy XL for Eternatus.
- Trainers have only one chance to catch Eternatus via the GO Pass, powering it up demands a substantially higher amount of Candy, and all related rewards will become unavailable after 9:00 p.m. local time on August 26.
- The events mark the biggest Max Battles challenge yet with Eternamax Eternatus, enhancing gameplay and concluding the summerlong Pokémon GO celebration.
