Erratic driver arrested on the Outer Ring Road
On Thursday afternoon, RNC officers observed a vehicle driving erratically in the Downtown area of St. John’s. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled the area. The vehicle was later observed on the Outer Ring Road, and officers were able to stop the vehicle. The 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. The accused was held to appear in court.

It took a while, but a man who sped off when RNC flashed the lights on him in downtown St. John’s yesterday is in custody. Officers patrolling the downtown noticed a vehicle being driven erratically but he instead made his way to the Outer Ring Road. That’s where the incident came to an end with the 44-year-old being charged with flight from police and dangerous driving. He will appear in court today.
