Duckett and Dawson Earn England Consolation Win over Sri Lanka in ODI Tri-Series
Ben Duckett hit 167 and Liam Dawson took 4-49 as England posted 386-5 and sealed a 55-run consolation win.
On Thursday, England defeated Sri Lanka by 55 runs at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, securing their first ODI win in Pakistan since 2005 in a tri-series consolation match.
England had lost their first three matches in the tri-series, leaving them out of contention for Saturday's final after previously squandering winning positions including a heartbreaking loss last week when Sri Lanka chased 430.
Ben Duckett struck a career-best 167 off 132 balls, powering England to 386-5, while spinner Liam Dawson claimed career-best figures of 4-49, dismissing Pavan Rathnayake in the 45th over.
Pavan Rathnayake scored 118 off 77 balls and skipper Kusal Mendis added 89, but Sri Lanka lost their last five wickets for just 16 runs, ending at 331.
Sri Lanka faces Pakistan in Saturday's final in Lahore, while England departs for Australia to play three ODIs and five T20s in November.
