Canadian firm Davie buys Pori shipyard to boost Arctic projects
Canadian-owned shipbuilder Davie has acquired the Mäntyluoto shipyard in Pori from Finnish energy company Enersense, further consolidating its Arctic shipbuilding operations in Finland. The deal, valued at €7.5 million, involves an initial payment of €5 million upon closing and a remaining €2.5 million due six months later. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of September 2025.
Enersense International sells its marine industry unit to Davie. The operations of the marine industry unit are located at the Mäntyluoto shipyard in Pori.
