Many companies offer fixed electricity tariffs below 15 cents/kilowatt hour, a price lower than during the subsidy period. Many are now turning to fixed tariffs, while the government is also planning measures for heating.
The final stage is the specification of the package of interventions for heating oil, with the government giving clear priority at this stage to protecting households from the sharp rise in energy costs. At the same time, despite the new rally in the wholesale electricity market, there is currently no intention to restore subsidies to electricity bills, without however ruling out intervention if the situation deteriorates further.
