Fuel stocks are now at their lowest and operators warn that a possible blackout could block calls, internet and SMS in most of the country.
Mobile network operators in Bangladesh have warned of an impending collapse of the internet and mobile communications due to the energy crisis triggered by the war with Iran. Telecommunications operations cannot be maintained without sufficient fuel, the country's Mobile Network Operators Association (Amtob) stated in a letter to the relevant regulatory authority on Monday.
