The Digital Labor Card is expected to be gradually extended - in two phases - to 500,000 additional workers, according to the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Niki Kerameus.
The digital work card is being extended to another 500,000 workers from October.
The introduction of the Digital Employment Card, the implementation of which was legislated after the passage of the relevant bill in which it is stated, aims to put an end to the "scams" in the public sector.
