Coroner identifies Smithfield worker killed in Monmouth plant incident

Warren County Coroner Al McGuire has identified the worker killed Monday at the Smithfield Foods plant in Monmouth as Patou M. Mpinda, 44, of Monmouth. McGuire told WGIL Tuesday that a final cause of death has not yet been determined and toxicology results are still pending. He said the death is believed to be work-related.
