Emmys Host Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance With Their 3 Kids
On Monday, Mariska Hargitay attended the 78th Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles alongside husband Peter Hermann and their three children: August, Amaya, and Andrew.
Hermann first appeared as defense attorney Trevor Langan on Law & Order: SVU in 2002, where he met Hargitay; the couple married in 2004 and later welcomed their three children.
Beyond attending as a guest, Hargitay served as the evening's host, becoming the first woman to emcee the ceremony in 15 years, and she recently won two gold statues at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys.
Harrison Ford also attended, celebrating his second consecutive nomination for Apple TV's Shrinking, where he competes for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series as Dr. Paul Rhoades.
At age 84, a win would make Ford the oldest actor ever to claim a comedy acting Emmy, surpassing Henry Winkler's record, while fellow nominee Stephen Root seeks his first win for Widow's Bay.
