UAE-Backed 20 MW Solar Projects Inaugurated Across Comoros Islands

Three solar photovoltaic plants totaling 20 MW have been inaugurated in the Union of the Comoros, financed by AED 84.4 million from ADFD. They aim to enhance energy security, reduce diesel reliance, and support infrastructure. The project will generate 33.75 GWh annually, benefiting 17,500 households and lowering carbon emissions significantly.
