Interior Health closed the South Okanagan General Hospital emergency department from 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2, until 7 a.m. Sunday, May 3, while all other inpatient services continued at the Oliver facility.
Before Saturday, the last time the South Okanagan General Hospital emergency room closed was on March 31, making this the first suspension in over a month.
