An emergency committee meets today from 10.00 a.m. to discuss in detail the situation of the energy crisis in Romania, after stopping the reactors at Cernavoda. Rovinari Group 4 has been reopened, but coal reserves can only cover the lack of energy for up to 5 days.
The Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, Cristian Bușoi, said on Monday, live at Digi24, that Group 4 of the Rovinari coal-fired power station will go into operation to reduce energy imports, in the context of high temperatures and increased consumption.
