The National Electrical Coordinator, ENGIE Chile and Huawei conducted in the storage system BESS Los Loros, located in the Atacama region, the first pilot tests in Grid Forming (GFM) technology field in the National Electrical System (SEN). During the tests, one of the power blocks operated in network forming mode and participated in the creation of an electrical island, in which voltage and frequency remained stable.
