Tesla plans to ramp up production at its major factory in Grünheide, Germany, near Berlin this year. In addition, the electric car manufacturer intends to hire 3,500 new employees and the factory is set to serve new markets. Tesla sees demand for its electric cars picking up and profit figures improving, the company reports in the annual report of its German production division.
Tesla is currently running: The electric car manufacturer supplies more than 30 markets from Grünheide. In the future, up to 375,000 cars in Brandenburg will roll off the line and 3500 new jobs will be created.
The electric car manufacturer Tesla wants to produce battery cells in Germany. The chances are better than for other cell projects. This also has to do with a new production process.
