Eldora is on track for the longest ski season in its history thanks to 7 feet of March snow

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — Thanks to about seven feet of new snow in March, Eldora Ski Area is extending its season by at least a full week.  “We have the snow, so let’s ski it,” Eldora spokesman Sam Bass said.  The ski area now plans to stay open until April 21.  “It’s starting to melt because it’s getting warmer but there’s still so much of it that we’re gonna be in great shape until closing weekend,” Bass said.  Colorado ski area closing da…
