Eight children from Kadena Town and Yomitan Village in Okinawa Prefecture, born between 1978 and 1979, all turned 20 this year. To coincide with the Coming of Age Ceremony, a total of 16 people, including the eight newly 20-year-olds and their parents, gathered at a beach in Yomitan Village on the 11th to reaffirm the bonds of friendship that span two generations.
