According to the ED investigation, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress (TMC) gave approximately ₹160 crore from party funds to Carewell Aviation India Private Limited. It is alleged that the company used this money to purchase an Embraer jet and an Agusta VIP helicopter. These were later leased to the TMC for approximately ₹187 crore. According to the investigation, the TMC paid the company ₹88 crore.
