ECU Health hosted free pop-up event to support rural health

OAK CITY, N.C. (WNCT) -- Today, ECU Health hosted a free community pop-up event at the Oak City Volunteer Fire Department to help support rural health. The event offered a variety of healthcare services, which included checking blood pressure, diabetes levels, and overall wellness. With many rural areas being a food desert, they also had the opportunity to buy and pick up fresh produce from Conetoe's Farm Life Bus. "I think this is a great event…
