Echo Global Logistics to Acquire ITS Logistics to Create $5.4B Transportation Platform
The acquisition combines Echo's AI-driven technology with ITS's DropFleet program, creating a $5.4 billion platform to enhance logistics and supply chain solutions.
On Jan. 21, 2026, Chicago-based Echo Global Logistics announced it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Reno, Nev.-headquartered ITS Logistics from GHK Capital Partners, creating a combined platform with 2025 pro forma revenues of $5.4 billion.
Echo says the acquisition will expand its scale and capabilities by growing brokerage, managed transportation, and cross-border services to better support customers navigating complex supply chains.
ITS Logistics contributes its DropFleet trailer program and will continue operating with its existing leadership and just over 2,600 employees.
ITS employees will receive access to Echo Global Logistics’ technology-enabled transportation and supply-chain services, enhancing tools and execution and improving network optimization and real-time insight.
The deal positions the combined company among North America's largest 3PL platforms with $5.4 billion pro forma revenue, reflecting Echo's 2025 expansion including FreightSaver and two other deals plus a Mexico City office.
