EasyJet shares 48-hour Bank Holiday breaks you can take without using annual leave
The airline says more than 800,000 seats are available from the UK, with new routes to Preveza, Reus and Ljubljana added for the holiday weekend.
EasyJet has unveiled a range of European short-haul breaks for the August Bank Holiday, with one-way flights starting at less than £40 for 48-hour getaways.
Dubbed the "Bank Holiday Loophole," the concept targets those on a Monday-to-Friday schedule, allowing travel Friday evening or Saturday morning with return before Bank Holiday Monday.
To accommodate demand, EasyJet will operate more than 800,000 seats during the Bank Holiday weekend, a 6% increase compared to last year, with 56 more destinations including Greece, Spain, and Slovenia.
"More people are looking to make the most of Bank Holiday weekends, and it's easy to see why," said Tony Hopkins, trading and development director at EasyJet.
While Amsterdam and Paris remain popular choices, travelers are reminded these prices apply to outbound flights only; customers must arrange their own return transport and accommodation.
