Nicaraguan state employees will enjoy a Holy Week vacation, beginning Friday, March 27, after their workday ends, and returning to work on Tuesday, April 7. This was announced by Nicaragua's co-president, Rosario Murillo, who reported that at the request of Commander Daniel Ortega Saavedra, the Minister of Labor submitted a proposal for paid family leave for Holy Week 2026.
