Early in-Person Voting Opens Across LA County Ahead of Nov. 3 Election
Officials said 123 initial sites will operate daily through Nov. 2, with 523 more opening Oct. 31 and 429 ballot drop boxes available.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, Los Angeles County opened 123 vote centers for early in-person voting ahead of the Nov. 3 General Election, with sites operating daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 2.
Election officials will open 523 additional vote centers next weekend, bringing the countywide total to 646, supplementing 429 official ballot drop boxes available to the county's 1.43 million registered voters.
Los Angeles City Clerk Patrice Y. Lattimore encouraged voters to "make a plan to vote ahead and participate," noting residents may also "opt to mark a paper ballot and then cast it into a ballot box."
One early voting site operates at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in East Los Angeles, where the county provides election materials in 18 languages and telephone assistance in 23 languages.
Voters who missed the Oct. 19 registration deadline can still register through California's conditional voter registration process, as all ballots must be received or postmarked by Tuesday, Nov. 3.
