Eagles running back Saquon Barkley said he'd love to stay with Eagles
Barkley said he wants to be part of the solution as Philadelphia considers more moves after six straight losses.
Following the Philadelphia Eagles' 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday, running back Saquon Barkley stated he wants to remain with the team despite trade speculation.
The Eagles have lost six consecutive games, placing them in last place as the November 10 trade deadline approaches, prompting general manager Howie Roseman to consider roster moves.
Barkley has rushed for 274 yards on 56 carries this season while managing hamstring and back injuries; he recorded 14 touches for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Commanders on Sunday.
Philadelphia plays the NFC East-leading Giants next Sunday in the final game before the trade deadline, while ESPN reported Barkley will not be traded before November 10.
The Eagles previously traded offensive lineman Cam Jurgens to the Ravens, sparking further roster discussions, while Barkley remains under contract through the 2028 season after signing a two-year, $41.2 million extension.
