'Dutton Ranch': 'Yellowstone' spinoff renewed for Season 2
- On Wednesday, Paramount Plus officially renewed the Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch for Season 2, just days before the penultimate episode airs Friday, June 26.
- The renewal follows a record-breaking launch, with the Western drama drawing 12.9 million viewers globally in its opening week, making it the biggest original series debut in Paramount Plus history.
- Starring Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler, the series follows the couple as they flee Montana to forge a new future in South Texas, encountering brutal local rivalries.
- "Beth and Rip are among the most iconic duos in television history," said Jane Wiseman, head of originals for Paramount Plus, noting the nine-episode season is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
- With the season finale airing July 3, no filming timeline for the new season has been confirmed, and showrunner Chad Feehan exited the series after completing the first season.
