Dutch soccer club honours Canadian military on new uniforms

A soccer club in the Netherlands is honouring the Canadian military on the 80th anniversary of that country's liberation during the Second World War.

SC Cambuur will wear a commemorative shirt during their match against Vitesse to mark 80 years since the liberation of Leeuwarden on 15 April 1945. That day, the Royal Canadian Dragoons entered the city via Groningerstraatweg, bringing an end to the German occupation.
