During his current visit to Israel, the head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, granted the Dutch prime minister candidate, Geert Wilders, honorary citizenship of Samaria. The ceremony was held at the opening of the 9th Alma Festival at the Ravba Amphitheatre, in front of thousands of residents and participants.
