Marko ĐUrić: Serbia Is a Hostage of Kurti's Behavior, the EU Does Not Pat Us on the Shoulder as a "Good Student"

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Đurić, stated that the main reason why Serbia is not the first on the list of candidate countries for European integration is our independent foreign policy, but also the deadlock in the dialogue with Pristina, where "Serbia is a hostage to the behavior of the Kurti regime."

Although Serbia belongs to the countries of the East, as a small country it must be both in the East and the West, or, perhaps better said, neither in the East nor in the West, if it wants to survive, says Slavica Grahovac, a lawyer and analyst, the closest associate of the legendary Serbian and Yugoslav lawyer Veljko Guberina, in whose office she spent more than 20 years.

According to him, the reason why Serbia is not yet a member of the EU is not related to "the quality and character of the reforms being implemented here."
