2024 - German Biathletes Shine with Double Podium Finish at World Team Challenge in Schalke

The traditional year-end mixed doubles biathlon competition, the World Team Challenge, was won this year by Norwegians Sturla Holm Lägreid and Karoline Offigstad Knotten.

At the biathlon in Schalke, both German teams made it to the podium. Only Sturla Holm Laegreid and Karoline Offigstad Knotten from Norway were stronger.

A revenge-hungry Erik Valnes was unable to catch up with Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, but moved into a strong 2nd place.
