Driving Through Floodwater Charges, Bundaberg North & Cloncurry

Police have charged a man after he was rescued from floodwaters in Bundaberg North this morning, 11 March. Around 6.45am, emergency services were called to the intersection of Thornhill Street and Tallon Street, following reports the man was trapped in floodwaters. It will be alleged the 62-year-old Bundaberg North man had attempted to drive his Holden Crewman ute through a flooded section of the road, before becoming trapped inside his vehicle.…
