Drivetime Mahatma: Closure of U.S. 67 rest stop near Corning related to anticipated Interstate 57 traffic shift | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Dear Mahatma: The rest stop on U.S. 67 north of Corning near the Missouri state line has recently closed. This seems unreasonable. The new highway will be located a couple of miles east of the rest stop, but that highway is under construction. Could you let us know why the rest stop was closed.
