McLaren’s driver harshly questioned the Argentine’s maneuver in re-launching the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The accident also left Pierre Gasly out of the race.

He was involved in a three-car accident caused by Franco Colapinto of Alpine. Norris did not spare criticism of his Argentine rival after the race. He called for an exemplary punishment and suggested that the 23-year-old driver had no business in Formula 1.
