The driver who crashed his truck into a South Jordan lake last week has died from injuries sustained in the crash, South Jordan police said Friday.

SOUTH JORDAN, UTAH- The driver involved in the accident of April 17, 2025 at Lake Oquirrh, Daybreak, died in the hospital because of injuries sustained in the accident. The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when a truck travelling at high speed on Duckhorn Drive did not stop at Kestrel Rise Road, crashed into a parked car and turned into the lake.
