Driver convicted of murder after his truck plowed into a July 4 barbecue in NYC, killing 4
Daniel Hyden was convicted of second-degree murder for killing four and injuring seven at a July Fourth barbecue after driving drunk and speeding, prosecutors said.
A driver who crashed his truck into a July 4th barbecue in New York City was convicted of murder, killing four people.
The victims were Ana Morel, 43, Emily Ruiz, 30, Lucille Pinkney, 59, and Herman Pinkney, 38.
The driver, Daniel Hyden, 46, of New Jersey, was also convicted of assault and vehicular homicide charges.
