Congo army launches disarmament push against Rwanda genocide-linked militia

On Sunday, 29 March, in Kisangani (northeastern DRC), the Deputy Commander of the General Staff of the Congolese Army ordered the Forces démocratiques de libération du Rwanda (FDLR) – a Hutu rebel group formed at the origin of former Rwandan genocidaires – to "go." Over 200 ex-FDLR combatants reintegrated back in society
