Toronto Rapper Top5 Stabbed Following Drake's U.K. Concert
NORTH LONDON, ENGLAND, JUL 15 – Top5 was stabbed in the leg after a gang vandalized his car following Drake's Wireless Festival set; police say his injuries are not life-changing and investigations continue.
Toronto rapper Hassan Ali, known as Top5, was stabbed in the leg in North London shortly after attending Drake's Wireless Festival set this weekend.
The attack followed a livestream where Ali stated, "There is no real killers in London," and police said a group damaged his white Mercedes before stabbing him.
Footage shows about a dozen men climbing on Ali's car, stamping on its cracked windscreen, kicking him inside before he made a quick getaway to hospital.
Earlier that evening, Top5 shared videos from a VIP area showing Drake praising London MCs, stating that no one anywhere surpasses them in rap skills.
The Metropolitan Police have stated that investigations are continuing with no arrests made so far, while Top5’s injuries are thought to be non-life-threatening, highlighting ongoing conflicts within the rap community.
