Drake’s ‘HABIBTI’ Rebounds to No. 2 on Billboard 200 After Reissue
The deluxe reissue added four tracks and drove 71,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate.
Drake's HABIBTI climbed 114 positions on the Billboard chart following a well-timed deluxe reissue released October 2, returning to its highest charting position.
The HABIBTI expansion added 4 tracks originally premiered during Drake's self-funded short film FOMO, expanding the tracklist from 11 to 15 songs.
According to Luminate, the album generated 71,000 equivalent units, marking a 506% weekly increase, with streaming accounting for nearly 70,000 units and a 497% jump.
New additions include the Ella Langley-interpolating "Solar Eclipse" featuring Don Toliver, "Quebec," and "Cold Shoulder," a collaboration with Toliver and Yebba, plus "Classic PT2."
HABIBTI was one of three albums Drake rolled out in May; Billboard reports he declined to submit the projects for Grammy consideration due to a contentious relationship with the Recording Academy.
