Draft law on lowering excise duties on heated tobacco products, voted in first reading by Parliament, criticized by health experts

The bill on lowering excise taxes on heated tobacco products, voted in first reading by the Parliament of Chisinau, is harshly criticized by health experts. The changes, although approved by the government, are not accepted by the Ministry of Health. And the deputy director of the National Public Health Agency says the decision goes against national policies and will lead to an increase in the number of smokers.
