Authorities are reporting minor injuries after a school bus rolled over near McAllen Thursday. The Sharyland ISD bus was carrying six people when it overturned near Shary Road and State Highway 107, which is near Pioneer High School. Five students and the bus driver were taken to the hospital for evaluation, but reportedly had minor injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
This afternoon, a school bus from Sharyland ISD, identified as Unit 5, rolled over its side near the intersection of Highway 107 and Shary Road in the McAllen area, causing the temporary closure of lanes in both directions, although traffic has already re-established.
