More than 100 riders illegally used city highways and bridges for stunts, leading to the arrest of a 22-year-old dirt bike rider, police said.
- More than 100 riders illegally rode through Boston highways Saturday, crossing the Zakim Bridge into the O'Neill Tunnel near 2 p.m., police said.
- Earlier this year, five teenagers biked the I-93 South tunnel under Boston, despite it being illegal on Massachusetts highways.
- Officials also urged anyone who encountered the group on public roadways to avoid engaging with them, as videos show riders performing wheelies without helmets.
- At the Seaport District, Adam Harrison, 22, of Winthrop, fled on foot after a stolen dirt bike collided with a cruiser, and police arrested him at the scene.
- Despite initial arrests, the group soon exited toward Government Center before returning to Interstate 93, authorities said, urging vigilance and non-interaction.
