The Museum of Local History in Olomouc objected to its name being included among the institutions that signed an open letter to the government of Andrej Babiš (ANO) regarding the new State Cultural Policy of the Czech Republic 2026–2030. The museum did not join the letter, its spokesperson Martina Vysloužilová told ČTK on Monday.

Czech cultural institutions are demanding the withdrawal of the new state cultural policy for the years 2026 to 2030. They accuse the government of non-transparent creation of the key document.
