In an open letter, professional organizations, institutions, associations, platforms, and unions operating in culture have called on the government to withdraw the new State Cultural Policy for the years 2026 to 2030, which was developed by the Ministry of Culture. The reason is the method of preparation, which they consider non-transparent.
The Museum of Local History in Olomouc objected to its name being included among the institutions that signed an open letter to the government of Andrej Babiš (ANO) regarding the new State Cultural Policy of the Czech Republic 2026–2030. The museum did not join the letter, its spokesperson Martina Vysloužilová told ČTK on Monday.
