Last Friday Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin had an appointment at a military base in Alaska, territory that in 1867 Russia sold to the United States at $7.2 million, approximately $150 million today - cheaper only Texas. Apart from the historical fact that apparently neither of them remembered or, perhaps, both ignore, the meeting to end the war in Ukraine, as we say colloquially in Mexico was worth a hat.
