Dominican Republic Bans Haiti From Its Stadiums After Nations League Clash
On Friday, the Dominican Republic banned Haiti's national soccer team from playing at its sports venues following crowd trouble at a Concacaf Nations League match at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo.

Dominican Football Federation president Jose Deschamps called player Wilson Isidor's remark that "Hispaniola is Haiti" "a lack of respect for national sovereignty" and pledged to file complaints with FIFA and Concacaf.
Haiti's embassy in Santo Domingo stated the remarks did not reflect government policy, while Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader backed the ban, asserting the minister's position aligns with the government.
