Dolphins Agree to a 3-Year Extension with Center Aaron Brewer, AP Source Says
The extension locks in a key blocker after his All-Pro season and gives him $37 million guaranteed, ESPN reported.
On Wednesday, the Miami Dolphins and center Aaron Brewer agreed to a three-year, $52.5 million contract extension, including $37 million guaranteed.
Brewer, 28, joined the Miami Dolphins in 2024 after playing his first four seasons with the Tennessee Titans, having entered the league in 2020 as an undrafted free agent out of Texas State.
With an average annual salary of $17.5 million, the deal makes Brewer the third-highest paid center in the NFL, trailing Tyler Linderbaum of the Las Vegas Raiders and Creed Humphrey of the Kansas City Chiefs , following his second-team All-Pro season.
Brewer played a key role in helping running back De'Von Achane rush for a career-high 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns last season, contributing to Achane leading the league with 5.7 yards per carry.
The Miami Dolphins recently signed Pro Bowler De'Von Achane to a four-year extension worth $64 million, while the team is also expected to finalize a deal with veteran linebacker Jordyn Brooks during the offseason.
